SOTF Sign
I finished up my Sister on the Fly "Junk Art" sign.... just in case I for get what my Sister on the Fly number is... I had fun making this. I took some cast off liscence plates, cut up numbers and then attached them with a handful of mismatched screws to a scrap piece of 1/2" ply-wood which I singed. Then I dug through my junk jewelery stach, some 1/2 pearls then attached them. Then I trimmed it out with some chain, cotton fabric strips and a spoon handle... Voila!
Oh and don't tell my hubby I was in his ManCave work shop,,, riffling through his stuff and using the Scroll Saw...... heeheehee,,, hey, a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do!

Mig's Trailer Pillow
Mig received a sweet little pillow recently and needless to say, Mig went straight to work, with a dash of spontanious creativity from Karen, Cori and myself.... to create this super cute trailer pillow. Now I want one! The juxtapaux of sweet lace & fun whimsical fabric made up this pillow that now adorns Migs trailer.
I had to show you my cute little "Trailer" night light that I got from Kristina.... I love it and looks so cute at night when it is lit up. Thank you Kristina....

I love visitors, both 2 and 4 legged ones! This is 'Dash', Karen's sweet little 4-legged furbaby.
I love using sweet hankies and linens to decorate.
Visitors get the biggest chuckle when they see my "Pay Toilet" sign....
As you can see, my new curtains are made from a vintage table cover and my side curtains are from a vintage Chennile bed cover.... the same cover that I used to re-cover my cushions.
I love re-purposing things so when I found this cool white~washed pink rattan picture frame, I knew it would make a perfect tray, as well as give me some extra 'counter space'... Add some cast off forks for handles and Volia! Now I just need to find some sweet photos to tuck under the glass in the frame.

"Sisters"
What a great weekend.. a Trailer Slumber Party with my "Sisters"... Karen & her 'date' Dash, Mig & Cori and a warm firepit..... good food to follow. We had a lovely (a tad bit cold) weather for the weekend but no rain, whew!. We got to spend some time in my craft room getting creatively crafty.... and a surprise visit from our other "Sister", Rene. All in all it was a wonderful weekend.
Trailer Slumber Party
I had fun making this little pillow for fellowette Sister on the Fly~sister, Cori.....hope she likes it!..I also found a cool old aluminum tray that I spray painted to match Cori's trailer colors.
Karen, Cori & Mig...Yeehaw, let the trailer Slumber party begin! Gathering in front of Karen's Shasta~ "Driving Ms Daisy".)
Mig's "Island Girl" Shasta trailer
My "Scotty w/a Potty" Serro Scotty trailer.
Cori's "Primarily Me" Aristocat trailer. (and her 4-legged kids.)

These are my new curtains that I made from a vintage tablecloth....
I re-purposed the pink ratan picture frame into a tray. Then Hubby dearest took 2 forks, re-shaped them and attached them to the frame/tray... now to find the perfect photos to tuck into the frame. Our little trailers have so very little counter space that I decided to make use of the stove top by using a tray to give me more counter space when I am not cooking.

She's Home...
My little trailer is home after spending the Winter across the road in our neighbors barn.
It was great to spend time with her, tidying her up and I even managed to sneak in a 20 minute nap after hanging the new curtains.

This Picture...
OK, what is wrong with this picture?"I am NOT in it"!
This is my wonderful friend, Juli showing off her New/Old trailer... 'Iron Pony'. Juli & I.P. had
a slumber party at my house this past weekend. You may not be able to see it, but Juli is grinning from ear to ear...She is now the proud owner of not just 1, 2 or 3 vintage trailers... but has increased her collection (trailer addiction) to 5! Yes, 5.
I am still only at 3.... I had better get to crackalackin' if I want to catch up with her!
Juli, sister #444 bought Nancy, sister #697 trailer.... I love it when we sisters keep our trailers... in the Hood! lol!
So if there are shows called, 'Pimp My Ride' and 'Pimp My Crib(house)'... then why isn't there a show called "Pimp My Trailer'? hmmm?
Happy Trails!

My lil Twinkie
Last weekend while out 'Trailer Trolling' with my Glamping partner in Crime... I got to thinking about my little 1976 fiberglass SCAMP trailer all of 13' long & 5' wide....and how I wish I had not sold her.... Her name was "Twinkie" and small as she was I still loved camping in her. One learns to really par down what one needs to take Glamping in a itty bitty trailer.
When we first got her, she was pretty much a mess.... Gary did a complete Face Lift on her,,, New sub-flooring, new laminate flooring,, a new table, cabinet doors & wall behind the kitchen. He even fabricated new windows for her as well as installed new electrical....I painted the interior, re-upholstered the cushions and cutsiefied her all up in Mid-Century 1960's aka 'Dean Martin',, Avocado green & orange,,, I thought it was cute....I think Gary was not so sure about my color choice! lol!... I have some more pictures of her, unfortunately they are on a different computer....maybe I'll copy them over to this computer and post them...but for now,,,,I'll just enjoy the sweet memories of my lil 'Twinkie'....

Trailer Trolling
What Do You Do...
What do you do when you can't go 'Trailer Glamping'?
Why you go 'Cabin Glamping' instead!
Gal-pal Juli and I headed out to Elk Idaho for a weekend of Junktiquing & trailer trolling...just your typical gal~pal girlie weekend get-away.... As you can see from this picture,,, lots of snow in Elk... oh and that bottle of wine in the window,,,gee,, how did it get there? lol!
If you 'blink' you will miss the town of Elk,,, looking up the main street through town...
and the other way... lol!
Juli & I gabbed till our jaws ached, visited neighbors, had an awesome hamburger at the local tavern, enjoyed some organic wine, watched two old classics movies, watched it snow and wondered if we were going to get snowed in on Sunday... but alas, we didn't get snowed in.
On the way back to Moscow, ID...we did some 'Trailer trolling'... I'll post a few 'teaser' photos.
Happy Trails!

My Scotty Banner
Notice the resemblance?
"The Gnome Home" Sister #472,,, that's me!Look what arrived in my mailbox today, my Fan-tab-ulos banner from Sister on the Fly sista, Karla #303.... Karla dose fantastic machine embroidery and can make just about any trailer banner for your trailer. I had painted blue dots and a Scotty dog on my trailer and Karla was able to replicate it... So how Kool is that!?!. Karla also has a etsy shop and you can see her posting on the Sisters on the Fly FaceBook page. You can also contact her at: hobbyhorseranch@aol.com for embroidery work. She dose towels, banners etc...she can even do embroidery on jackets... I think I will have to have a denim jacket with my trailer embroidered on it next! :>)
Thank you so very much Karla, I can hardly wait for my first Glamping trip of the season to hang my banner for all to see. Happy Trails!
