Once again, I am so far behind in posting on my Blog,, and now we are almost at the end of 2019..
With it being Winter,, my trailers are fast asleep in the Barn and I can only day dream about up coming camping adventures for next Summer...

I did manage to make some dish towels for my lil trailers...

So.. until the snow melts and the trailers come out of Hybernation...

Trailer Pillow....

Well, I may not be able to go Glamping... but I can still make cute lil Glamping decos!
I bought a pre-printed panel with a cute trailer design... this reminds me of back in the 1960's-70's when you could by a fabric panel of a Teddy Bear or Kitty or Holiday-Christmas tree or Easter Bunny, etc...
Just cut out, sew and stuff...and Voila' instant cute pillow....
Now I just need to decide which trailer to put this in...the Scotty or the Aristocrat... or I could buy another panel and then I would have one for each trailer!!!
Happy Trails and Wagons HO!

Flamingo Stapler...

Every Flamingo trailer needs a Flamingo stapler!
This cutie 'migrated' all the way from Florida.. to snowy Spokane...vie a thoughtful friend.

We are adding electricity to the Barn,, so during the Winter I can sneak out to my trailers, turn on the little electrical heater and snuggle in and catch up on my reading... and munch on my secrete cookie stash!
I may not get to do any Glamping in the dead of Winter,, but at least I can pretend while nestled in the barn.

Glamping Season...

It doesn't matter the season or weather,, it's always fun to go Glamping...
 we can brave the weather...
and glamp in an unexpected late September snow... or...
stay snuggled in under shelter, with a warm mug of tea and a cookie or two...
Happy Snowtember!

Table Runner for my Aristocrat...

I had a bit of free time and decided to stitch up a little table topper/runner for my Aristocrat...
I still have lots of "Maryjane Butters" fabric by Moda... which is great, for when I get itchin' to be stitchin'.
I still need to do some decorative top stitching.. but since the weather peeps are predicting snow by early next week,, I suspect I will have plenty of free time to sew... lol!
Notice the empty wine glass,, it may get used a lot more if we do get an early snow!!! lol!

Trip Down Memory Lane, Washington...

Came across some photos from when we lived in Spokane (2007-13)...
Wish we had not sold the old Belaire... how cute my lil Serro Scotty would have looked, being towed by  "Christine" (what we named the Belaire)...
A 1954 Chevy Belaire towing a 1963 Serro Scotty..
Ah! I do miss her....

That being said,, then we would have had to find a vintage car to match our 1971 Aristocrat... lol!

Camping Season is Over...

And This is Why camping season is pretty much over for us...
All day,, off and on 'mini monsoons'....
Both trailers are tucked away in the barn... and the motorhome is in the Shop for warranty work...
So no camping this weekend... bummer!

Winters Coming..

Winter's coming and so we decided to tuck away both trailers....
In the mean time I made another little glass trivet for my Aristocrat...
I used decopauge paste to adhear the fabric to the underside of this glass trivet that I bought at a local Dollar store... Then I let it dry over night,,, then sprayed on a layer of Varathane/sealer.
It now is in the trailer along with the apron from the same fabric.
I'll probably find some more fun fabrics to make more fun stuff for my trailers while they snooze through the Winter.

I used up some of the Maryjane Butters fabric I had ... and other bits-n-pieces of fabric...
and of course.... a yoyo for the tire...
the back side is such a sweet print but is to busy to have used for the front side..

My New Trailer Quilt

My New Trailer Quilt..
it is a short twin size, just perfect for my trailer..
I luv the fun fabric prints...

New Curtain for my Trailer...

I am getting the curtains (almost) finished..
I finished the red ones and just recently a new one for the window over my sink.. now to figure out what to do with the side ones by the sofa...
luv these ... Maryjane Fabric by Moda...
I decided to do simple lace behind the sofa.. just need to figure out what to do for the side ones.. tho I am leaning toward just a fun pink fabric...
I sewed layers of different fabrics to make the kitchen curtain... I also spray painted the paper towel holder a bright blue.
I made several 'secrete stash' hangers.. to hide my lil goodies in, with in my trailer closet.
I made a coulpe more of them, 1 on blue and one in green...
And lookie what I found at the local Thrift.. a 2' x 3' Scotty banner.. Whoot Whoot.

Lookie, Lookie, Fabric Fun...

Lookie, Lookie what I got today...
Sent to me from MaryJanes Farm,, Glamping fabric , design by Maryjane Butters for Moda Fabrics.
Fat quarters, and 4 of them are from her line of ' Glamping' fabrics and the fabric on the right is a whimsical glamping Diva fabric also by Maryjane that is complimentary to the Glamping fabric...
Sew many things to sew,,, what shall I make?

Even In Deutschland...

Yes, even in Deutschland, Germany, Heilbronn to be specific... little aluminum trailers are popular!
Check it out, in the center of town in the City Hall plaza, I spotted this wee one,,,

Not sure if it is a food vendor or other type of vendor or a Dealership with their trailer on display..
Camping is very popular in Germany...
Wish I were there right now, to check this out..
fyi-gotta luv Web Cams...
(if you click on the photo, it will enlarge.)

New Curtains...

Well I am re-doing the Aristocrat,, this time it will be a silly Kitchy theme..
1/2 and 1/2,, Whimsical Trailer and Flamingos...
not a good photo,, but just a sneak peek of what's to come.. btw, the wall is a butter cream yellow not white... and the cushions are red with tiny polk-a-dots..
The front half is in Flamingo Kitch and the back half is trailer kitch..
One can never have enough Kitch! lol!

I am gathering up Flamingo sillies,, and this is just a few,, I still have more out in the barn, stored in a container and some are in my Serro Scotty too!

This is just gonna be a silly kitchy trailer that makes me giggle....

The Girls are Out!

In spite of the 'skeeters' chomping on us, we pulled both trailers out of the barn...
I'll level them up tomorrow and get in some Deco time,, early before the Skeeters wake up and start chomping..
I also stitched up 2 new 'flag pennants'...
used up the last bits of MaryJane's Glamper fabric...
I haven't decided what I will do with the 2nd one...

I also made a new pillow case..
 and a new table runner...
there are so many fun kitschy trailer fabrics available...

I can hardly wait to start decorating and stitching up some more goodies...

1st Outing in Our New 'Home on Wheels...

Well we finally got to hit the trails and hit the trails we did! ..
We headed out Thursday afternoon over to Ponderosa Falls campgrounds and stayed there till Monday,,, we left just in time to beat the rains...
 I stashed some sewing projects...
 to keep me busy...
and my sweet companion kept me company...
Now for the fun part,,, Hubby and I were walking Ginger and at the basketball court we decided to play a little game called "HORSE".. I made my 1st basket,, but then on the 2nd basket, the ball hit the ring and started to bounce out of bounds, so I,,, in sandals,,, ran to retrieve it,, only to trip and go head over teakettle and land on my shoulder and knees.... yep! major bruising, swelling and scabbing.. I look Marvalous for Mothers Day! haha!
Speaking of Mothers Day,, the Campgound hosted a lovely Mother's Day Lasagna dinner and  cinnamon buns for breakfast.. which I am grateful, as I was pretty much in pain and discomfort from the fall.
this is the last of the scabbing on my arm.. my hip, shoulder and knees have healed up except for some (still) swelling on my left knee... uugh, I think my basketball playing days (in sandals) are over!

Now we are in a weeks worth of rains, and it will probably be a few weeks before we head out camping again,,  Hubby prefers nice weather, and so do I...
Happy Trails!

Waiting to Hit the Trails...

Well, we are still waiting to hit the Trails... waiting on a few parts and items to arrive so we can head out... We want to be totally set up so we ordered an outside water filter and rail for the sewer hose,, plus we need to go and buy the "Legos" blocks to park the coach on as well as we need to get one of those 'camping rugs' that fold up into a square, to use a s a 'patio' to keep from dragging dirt into the coach.
But soon, very soon we will be Glamping in style!
Until then, we will continue to Chillax around the coach...
 come on over...
and sit a spell...
