Glamping Finds
Well I may not be able to go glamping right now,,, but I can still go Junktiquing for glamping stuff!
I found this kool western themed jacket... the label reads: Sharon Young ~ Dallas
I love the fun western motif,, and notice the Cowgirl riding the steer......
I got a great tip from my wonderfully creative friend, Juli,,, to use western belts to decorate pillows, cabinets and even to use as curtain tie backs. This child size belt will be perfect for any one of those ideas. I could not resist the vtg. curling iron,, it's (almost) the same color blue as my Serro Scotty trailer. As for the pattern, I collect mid-century modern anything... I luv photo coping mid-century images to use on craft projects.
Now if only I could go Glamping.....

Missing You....
It goes with out saying... I truly miss my trailer gal~pals....
I miss the spontaneity of a friend blowing kisses...
I miss the silliness of taking funny pictures with a wonderful and equally silly friend...
I love the camaraderie of friendship...
I love that we can meet for the first time and feel like we have known each other for decades...
I love that we can bring our fur kids Glamping...
I love that we can laugh at ourselves and each other...
I love that we can step out of our 'adult comfort zone' and be silly girls if only for a weekend.
To all my beautiful gal~pals...
I miss you.... but I know we will meet up again somewhere along the trail. Until then, Happy Trails to you, until we meet again!

Peddler Faire Finds For My Trailer...
Check out these cute 'milk glass' coffee mugs... so cute to use on a cool morning in the campgrounds... it's hard to see, but the sides are tired... cute cute cute! and the best part.. I got all 4 for just $1... Score!
Then I came across all these "Swizzles Stix"... they have names of places on them.. I suspect someone collected their swizzle stix aka cocktail stir sticks... like some people collect souvenir match books...
I can't decide whether to display them by color or theme or just put them all into a 'High Ball' glass...
There are even some clear with glitter stix in the mix... and yep! got 'em all for just $3.00
Hubby just doesn't get it... but I get a kick out of them!

Trailer Slugs and Stuff!
Here ya go... two of the cutest 'trailer slugs' I have ever seen! This 'Glamping' can wear a girl out!
While waiting for our pizza, I snuck out and went next door to the little gift shop to take a photo of this cute suitcase... I had seen the case earlier in the day... and the front side is uber cute... this is the back side... so I figured I would sneak a photo of it, after the shop was closed... How cute is this and what a great idea... the price tag was $250.00... and it weighed a ton! lol! but I could certainly see one of these by my trailer....
Even the side was finished in mosaic tiles.... if I recall, on the front side there was a 'broken' plate that was a 'frame' to add a personal photo.
Over in Coarsegold, we stopped off at a little plaza that sold hand made goods, from soaps and jams to jewelery and clothes... I found this cute tray that was made by a 13year old girl. She had a small section (booth) of things that she made with corks and what not's... I just had to buy this tray for two reasons... it was cute and would look cute in my trailer and... to support and encourage this young lady..
Well time to hit the trail and get into some more mischief.

Catalog Trailer
I was perusing through a 1965 Montgomery Wards catalog when I came across this...
You could actually 'Order' a camping trailer from Montgomery Wards... (1965 catalog)
It did not list a Brand/Maker name...so I would guess MW would contract out with a trailer fabricator to make trailers... and maybe give it a name to be used by WM... kind of like Sears and Kenmore.
Which makes me wonder if that is why there are a lot of 'unknown' trailers out there.... as I have seen posts from people (on FaceBook) asking if anyone has any idea of the Brand/Maker of the trailer they are posting.
It seems a tad expensive but then again, that was 1965,,,
The catalog also sold 'Plans" for you to construct/build your own camping trailer.
Here we are, 2013, and catalogs have fallen by the way side and Montgomery Wards has fallen away completely. Yep, times are changing....
