Lookie, Lookie, Fabric Fun...

Lookie, Lookie what I got today...
Sent to me from MaryJanes Farm,, Glamping fabric , design by Maryjane Butters for Moda Fabrics.
Fat quarters, and 4 of them are from her line of ' Glamping' fabrics and the fabric on the right is a whimsical glamping Diva fabric also by Maryjane that is complimentary to the Glamping fabric...
Sew many things to sew,,, what shall I make?

Even In Deutschland...

Yes, even in Deutschland, Germany, Heilbronn to be specific... little aluminum trailers are popular!
Check it out, in the center of town in the City Hall plaza, I spotted this wee one,,,

Not sure if it is a food vendor or other type of vendor or a Dealership with their trailer on display..
Camping is very popular in Germany...
Wish I were there right now, to check this out..
fyi-gotta luv Web Cams...

New Curtains...

Well I am re-doing the Aristocrat,, this time it will be a silly Kitchy theme..
1/2 and 1/2,, Whimsical Trailer and Flamingos...
not a good photo,, but just a sneak peek of what's to come.. btw, the wall is a butter cream yellow not white... and the cushions are red with tiny polk-a-dots..
The front half is in Flamingo Kitch and the back half is trailer kitch..
One can never have enough Kitch! lol!

I am gathering up Flamingo sillies,, and this is just a few,, I still have more out in the barn, stored in a container and some are in my Serro Scotty too!

This is just gonna be a silly kitchy trailer that makes me giggle....

The Girls are Out!

In spite of the 'skeeters' chomping on us, we pulled both trailers out of the barn...
I'll level them up tomorrow and get in some Deco time,, early before the Skeeters wake up and start chomping..
I also stitched up 2 new 'flag pennants'...
used up the last bits of MaryJane's Glamper fabric...
I haven't decided what I will do with the 2nd one...

I also made a new pillow case..
 and a new table runner...
there are so many fun kitschy trailer fabrics available...

I can hardly wait to start decorating and stitching up some more goodies...

1st Outing in Our New 'Home on Wheels...

Well we finally got to hit the trails and hit the trails we did! ..
We headed out Thursday afternoon over to Ponderosa Falls campgrounds and stayed there till Monday,,, we left just in time to beat the rains...
 I stashed some sewing projects...
 to keep me busy...
and my sweet companion kept me company...
Now for the fun part,,, Hubby and I were walking Ginger and at the basketball court we decided to play a little game called "HORSE".. I made my 1st basket,, but then on the 2nd basket, the ball hit the ring and started to bounce out of bounds, so I,,, in sandals,,, ran to retrieve it,, only to trip and go head over teakettle and land on my shoulder and knees.... yep! major bruising, swelling and scabbing.. I look Marvalous for Mothers Day! haha!
Speaking of Mothers Day,, the Campgound hosted a lovely Mother's Day Lasagna dinner and  cinnamon buns for breakfast.. which I am grateful, as I was pretty much in pain and discomfort from the fall.
this is the last of the scabbing on my arm.. my hip, shoulder and knees have healed up except for some (still) swelling on my left knee... uugh, I think my basketball playing days (in sandals) are over!

Now we are in a weeks worth of rains, and it will probably be a few weeks before we head out camping again,,  Hubby prefers nice weather, and so do I...
Happy Trails!

Waiting to Hit the Trails...

Well, we are still waiting to hit the Trails... waiting on a few parts and items to arrive so we can head out... We want to be totally set up so we ordered an outside water filter and rail for the sewer hose,, plus we need to go and buy the "Legos" blocks to park the coach on as well as we need to get one of those 'camping rugs' that fold up into a square, to use a s a 'patio' to keep from dragging dirt into the coach.
But soon, very soon we will be Glamping in style!
Until then, we will continue to Chillax around the coach...
 come on over...
and sit a spell...

Took the Motorhome for Gas..

Well, we took the motorhome for gas... Gary drove it down to the gas station and I drove it back..
Oh my stars! it drives so easy,, I even backed it into the spot where we park it..
I suspect hubby and I will be arm wrestling to see who gets to drive.. heehee!

Working on a pillow for the Motorhome...
I machine embroidery stitched the motorhome on a separate piece of fabric
which I will top stitch onto this 'Route 66' fabric and then it will become a deco pillow for the coach.
Hmmm, what else shall I craft up for the coach?

I can't be trusted in Camping World!

I can't be trusted in Camping World... I find way to much fun stuff!!!
I still love my itty bitty Glamp trailers,,,, and can never have enough stuff to decorate them with!
Gotta love Flamingos Too!!!!
Camping World had cup, plates, towels even vintage trailer embroidered bed sheets...
I was able to (barely) control myself,,, but I couldn't leave with out a few things...
Happy Trails!!!

Big Playhouse on Wheels...

                           Welcome to Ginger's Pad.....

Well, the paper work on our new Big Playhouse on Wheels is complete...
But, hubby wanted to upgrade the suspension and steering column, and have the coach exterior waxed/sealed so we won't have any fading issues for the next 5 years..

So we won't bring "Ginger's Pad" home until around the 16th of April.
In the mean time, this will give me time to read up on how to use the microwave/convection oven.
I also bought a 'Instant Pot' to use on trips.. I know my sister and my daughter LOVE theirs for home and camping trips,, so I guess I need to too!
Here are a few photos of "Ginger's Pad"... I can hardly wait to decorate it!

The cockpit... what you can't see in the photo is that above the Cockpit is a pull down bunk, which can also be used for additional storage...
driver's side... with all the bells, whistles and buttons...
 'co-pilot' side...
and I love that it has a work station, so I can craft, sew, cross stitch, make yoyos, etc., while hubby is driving. I can even work on my computer while on the road......
nice 3 person sofa that pulls out into a double bed...
the dinette which also can be converted into a bed....
the kitchen, with an over size stainless steel sink and faucet/pull down wand. But what I really like is that the wall behind the stove has tile to protect from splatters and that when you open the glass stove cover, it opens sideways to protect the sofa from splatters as well.
On the left is the Fridge/freezer, and 2 sets of wardrobe closets and drawers on both sides...
the bath room is a good layout and the tub is 36x36", which is a good decent size..
the queen size bed also has storage & nooks as well as ports and plug recepticals .
The coach has a good amount a usable storage compared to some RV Coaches.

Our 2019 THOR AXIX 27.7 is about 28 1/2 feet long,,, oh and did I mention it has 3 TV's, Yeepers!
1 in the bed room, one by the Dinette and one outside the coach,,, so Gary can watch his favorite Golf, basket ball and football games outside while I have fun inside the coach sewing and crafting.

Now to hit the road and make memories.....

Our New 'Playhouse' on wheels..

Well we did it,, after months of talking, researching and week ends of looking at Motorhomes...we found the perfect one that is perfect for us..
we bought a Thor Axis Class-A (RUV)
at 28 1/2 ft long, with 2 bump outs....
it's not as wide as a standard Class-A, it is  a tad narrower...
yet roomy enough with the bump outs in the open position.. and when the bump outs are closed, it is still easy to move around in.
even Ginger loves checking it out... now, were shall we go,,, the open road awaits us...

Don't worry, I still have my Serro Scotty trailer and the Aristocrat,, for my own girlie glamping week ends with my gal~pals.
Now,,, for Glamping season.....

Trailer Grins...

Trailer Grins... I have (almost) finished my wool craft trailer pillow,, all I need to do is buy a 12x12" pillow form and stitch up the fabric... I found this cool muted pillow-ticking fabric for the backing... and soon as I get back from California (visit my mom)... I will finish the deco pillow...
More Trailer Grins.... I received a package today from a Maryjane FarmGirl friend,,,
and look at all the goodies inside! Oh My Stars!
I can hardly wait to work on the Trailer Applique and the Trailer Quilt... The sweet little ceramic trailer on the right side is actually a tiny trinket box..
One more Crafty Trailer Grin.... I bought this little (red) travel mug, and went straight to work on
personalizing it with some scraps of trailer  fabric.
and Voila!!! my very own customized Trailer mug.
"Cowgirls go to Heaven... Glampers go everywhere else!...
